We would love to connect with you for the important events in your life, such as when you have a baby, get engaged, or lose a loved one. We’re happy to journey through these times with you and help in whatever way we can.
Baptism
If you’re thinking about baptism for yourself or your child, congratulations! This is an important step on your spiritual journey.
At the Church of the Nativity, candidates for baptism (or their parents) participate in a short series of classes held several times a year. Please contact the Church Office at 416-284-2728 to find out more.
Weddings
In the church, we believe that marriage is a gift of God, through which He joins two people together in love and faithfulness.
A minimum of 60 days’ notice is required by church law (unless exceptional circumstances exist). More notice is strongly encouraged to ensure the availability of the clergy and our space, and to allow for appropriate planning and preparation. At least one of the people seeking to be married must have been baptized in the Anglican Church or another Christian denomination.
Please contact the Church Office to discuss the possibility of having your wedding at the Church of the Nativity.
Funerals
If you have recently suffered a loss, please accept our sincere sympathy. If you’re interested in having our clergy officiate at the funeral service, either at the Church of the Nativity or at a funeral home, we urge you to contact us at the earliest opportunity so we can help with the planning process.
We welcome inquiries about pre-planning funerals, either well in advance or during a final illness. This allows you to express your preferences about favorite Scripture passages, beloved hymns, who will participate in the service, and the designation of memorial gifts.
